Lately the weather has seemed to have constant mood swings. One minute you are wearing shorts and a tank top in the 90-degree weather, and the next you are hiding out in your house from the rain covered in a blanket. The worst part is that the rain can always find a way to ruin your plans, so here are a few things you can do while the storm passes.
Binge Watch a TV Show
Everyone has a favorite TV show that they could watch over and over without getting tired of it. So, why not turn on your TV, pop some popcorn and sit back on your favorite part of the couch and have a TV marathon.
Here’s some of my TV recommendations:
- Stranger Things
- Glee
- Gilmore Girls
- One Tree Hill
- Friends
- Riverdale
Online Shopping
Even if you do not find yourself purchasing items from the websites you look at, online shopping is not only a great way to kill time, but it also allows you to see what is currently trending in the fashion world.
Get Creative
Sometimes rain can also bring out a gloomy side of a person, so why not get over the gloom by bringing out your creativity. Even if you do not have every supply at a Michaels Craft Store you can still find ways to be creative.
Here’s some ideas to get you started:
- Up-cycling old clothes
- Painting
- Sketching
- Redecorating your room
- Wreck this Journal (buy one here)
Play Board Games
Board games are always a must when you have a group of people around, so what is better than playing some Monopoly indoors while it is raining. Not only are you staying dry, but you can bring out your competitive side.
Pre-Plan a Trip
If you already know that the day is going to be a rainy one, why not pre-plan a trip with a group of friends and do an indoor activity.
Here are a few indoor places to check out:
