In the third episode, UHSpress presents freshman Aminah Vega. Aminah is one of the two freshman on the varsity softball team. While in eighth grade, she received a softball scholarship from the University of Central Florida. Along with high school softball, she plays on a travel softball team called Gainesville Gold. Outside of softball, Vega spends her time participating in youth group at her church. Vega plans to keep up her academics to maintain her scholarship and keep the door open for other opportunities to arise.

Alexus is a senior, and this is her fourth year on staff. She is dual-enrolled and will graduate with her associates degree from high school. She is captain of the varsity cheerleading team and a member of the National Honors Society. She plans to attend college and major in broadcast Journalism.
