Varsity football kicked off their last game for the fall season on Friday, October 27, playing against Spruce Creek at an away game.
“It’s kind of sad, you know I’m going to miss a lot of the guys,” junior quarterback Ethan Lasher said. “I’m also just excited to improve and work on our craft as a team.”
Although the season may have went in a way the coaches and players did not plan for, they reminisced memories made under the Friday night lights, locker rooms, practices and bus rides.
“The bus rides going there and going back is definitely something I’m going to miss,” senior tight end Jacobe Brown said. “You know, whether we won or lost, we were always having fun and cracking jokes, we would play music and it was just so fun.”
With this season being his last, senior offensive lineman Thomas Schiffman in a different way.
“It’s very sad, you know,” Schiffman said. “Time really does fly by. I remember my first JV game, and when my brother told me that time completely flies by, and he was right.”
